Youth Vigil in Heiligenkreuz – An evening that moves you!
Every 1st Friday of the month Start: 8:15 PM (optional: Monks' evening prayer at 7:45 PM) End: approx. 10:00 PM (followed by Agape with open end)
What can you expect?
An evening full of prayer, music & community!
Around 150–200 young people come together to experience a special night of prayer with the monks of Heiligenkreuz . The mixture of Gregorian chant, praise, a candlelit procession and Eucharistic adoration makes the youth vigil a unique experience.
Music that touches the heart!
From Gregorian chant to modern praise songs – both are here! A band provides captivating music that invites you to sing along. And don't worry: He who sings, prays twice – even if it sounds off-key!
Give God a chance!
The youth vigil is more than just a meeting – it is an invitation to encounter God personally. Perhaps you have questions, perhaps you are looking for answers – here you have time for silent prayer and the opportunity for God to touch your heart.
#### Agape & Fellowship afterwards! After the vigil, there will be a relaxed Agape in the youth room – a great opportunity to start conversations with others or to chat with the monks.
Overnight stay? No problem!
If you don't want to drive home, you can stay overnight at the youth hostel. Don't forget your sleeping bag!
Age: 14–35 years **Come by & be part of it – God has a plan for you!
