Festive Devotion

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, prayers for vocations are offered in the chapel of the Maternushaus in Köln – worshippers for one-time or regular adoration slots are sought.

Would you like to find peace in God, light candles, be led into prayer by beautiful music, and be a light for other people? Then why not stop by a Nightfever evening! The next dates are: Saturday, 19.09.2026 Saturday, 24.10.2026 Saturday, 05.12.2026 (in the Bonn Minster, night prayer on this evening at 10:30 PM) The Nightfever evening is an open prayer evening by young people who want to pass on the love of God that they have experienced themselves. We start each time at 6 PM with a common Mass. From 7 PM to 9 PM, there is time to linger and pray before the Lord during Eucharistic Adoration and quiet music. Confession is available. At the same time, some of us are on the street in front of the church inviting passers-by to light a candle in the church. At 9 PM, we end the evening with Compline, the night prayer of the Church. We are always looking for helping hands for the Nightfever evening: for setup and dismantling, and also for distributing candles on the street.
